As the finalist of the 1st DESIGN DREAM Show 2019, a production by Pro7 Austria, she got in 2nd place in the race for the title “Best Interior Designer in Austria”.

For the first time on Austrian television, six interior designers face each other and have to demonstrate their talent in a very short period of time and set up a “problem room” for a family according to their wishes.

In each of the five episodes there was a winning room, which the respective family could choose.

In the second episode Jasmin already had a winning room, the tiny room for a couple, and in the fourth episode she was able to inspire a single mom with three children for her kitchen.

THE ROOMS

Bedroom

Natural tones like light beige create a warm and cozy feeling of space.

In order to bring the wall opposite the bed closer, a muted gray-green was chosen by Jasmin. All in all, very warm, Scandinavian and refined with restrained fine color accents. Wood, fur and ceramics were used as the main materials.

The highlight is the “Ausflug” over the head of the bed, created by the Austrian Designer Thomas Poganitsch. Handmade in Vienna.

Tiny Room - WINNER

A mix of styles of traditional and modern art elements were combined with repeating colors and accented with black / white and blue / white.

Jasmin was concernced not to mix the three main areas of living, working and eating, but to separate the respective areas in order to enable each of the two residents to withdraw sufficiently. The shelf that serves to divide the space has created useful storage space.

Colors: replete, strong green and old rose. Highlights are the oriental elements, such as carpet and decoration in combination with traditional pieces.

living room

A modern and clean living room with Scandinavian flair. Tension was caused by emotional color highlights.

Jasmin wanted to choose a bright and friendly base, like a color-neutral wall unit and sofa, but the children's cozy corner should be darker and nestier. Colors were transported over textiles and wall decorations.

Color concept in warm rose tones with cheeky color shades such as orange, pink and red.

Kitchen - winner

The function of the kitchen was in the foreground. Jasmin has managed to divide the work triangle well, to make the kitchen larger and, as desired, to create a possibility where mom can cook and eat with children.

Furniture that has existed for decades should always be chosen in a color-neutral way and therefore jasmine has decided for white. She creates contrast and modernity with the black handles.

The wood worktop and the natural tone on the wall are intended to convey warmth and naturalness.

An extra is the magnetic and chalk wall, where mom and child can let off steam.

Children’s room - final

A noble fairy tale room for three girlies. In order to gain more storage space, the room height in the form of loft beds was used and at the same time a cozy effect was achieved. Jasmin was important to design the separation into sleeping and common play areas as well as a large desk for every child.

As desired, the color concept was chosen in warm shades of gray with pink and berries and accented with gold.
